Globalisation and trends for study of its impact on Education of Muslim Community in India
Abstract: Globalisation is not a new phenomenon in the world’s socio-economic system. Globalisation obliterates local cultures by homogenising societies across the globe. Education is an important service, which affects and gets affected by the changing cultures around the globe. Muslims in India have brought a culture of their own into India in the Medieval period. Now, the same community is in a dilemma in the era of globalisation. They lack ideas, technologies, goods, services, capital and intellectuals. The educational institutions run by them are quite few in number, they lack quality staff and students. They lack entrepreneurs, capitalists industrialists and managers in the education field who can steer this community forward. They were never and especially now the dominant culture in India, but are influenced by Indian and foreign dominance.
