B.Ed. (DM) MANUU, Assignments 2011

The Maulana Azad National Urdu University is running a two-year B.Ed. (DM) programme at 7 programme centres i.e. Bangalore, Darbhanga, Hyderabad, Pune, Secunderabad, Jammu and Srinagar. In this programme the student-teachers are required to submit three assignments in each of their course. The first year programme has 5 courses and second year programme has 3 courses. EDUSAT Proposal for SSA Karnataka

The DEP-DPEP, IGNOU and DEP-SSA Karnataka prepared its merger and the distance education activities of Karnataka were shaped by the then Distance Education Co-ordinator, Mushtaq Ahmed I. Patel. A massive EDUSAT programme was designed for primary schools of Karnataka by involving (i) NOS, IGNOU, Jawaharal Nehru Centre for Languages, (ii) RIESI, and others, (iii) ISI, IISC, CTE And others, (iv) IISE, KRVP,CTE, Planetarium, (v) CIIL, CTE, DIET, BRC (vi) ISRO and others with DSERT as the nodal agency. A STATE-OF-THE ART REPORT DDE, MANUU, 2011

The Vice-Chancellor, MANUU constituted a review committee under the chairmanship of Prof. V. S. Prasad, eminent distance educator and former VC, IGNOU and BRAOU and Director, NAAC. Dr. Mushtaq Ahmed I. Patel, co-ordinated the review work and facilitated the activities of committee. In the foremost stage he prepared a state-of-the art report of DDE with inputs from his colleagues at MANUU. The report gives a general idea about DDE, MANUU and its functioning.
