About MANUU Maulana Azad National Urdu University (MANUU) is a Central University , established by an Act of  Parliament in 1998 with all India jurisdiction. The headquarter and the main campus of MANUU is in  Gachibowli , Hyderabad. This is the only central university in India that provides education through Urdu Medium in regular and distance mode programmes. Hence, its stakeholders are spread from Kashmir to Kanyakumar, Gujrat to West Bengal and Assam. It is informed by the Chairman UGC, that the CUET test results will be the basis for admissions into the UG programs instead of scores in the 12th examination. Similarly, PG admissions will also be based on the CUET examination results. These admissions will be made to the 45 central universities across India based on this pattern. The medium of examination for the PG CUET test will be English and Hindi unlike UG, CUET which is being conducted in various regional languages. The best advantage is that the students can attempt their admissions across India to various institutions in their respective disciplines.
