Guntur tour

On 17th of August 2015, a three member committee made went to Guntur for visit of a College of education. Along with my colleagues Mr. B. L. Meena, assistant professor education and Dr. Arshad Ekbal, Regional Director, RCH, MANUU were present.  The to and fro journey was carried out on the same day, which was bit hectic. On visit, we found that the Andhra Pradesh Muslim society has got beautiful campus of 20 acres in the heart of the city. As informed to us the society is running various programmes like B.A., B.Com., B. Sc., in addition to B.Ed. and diploma in education. The building was quite spacious having science social studies rooms and education technology laboratory.  The information communication technology lab, language lab, psychology lab are very nice, and all the classrooms are equipped with projectors. Lecture of Prof. Y. P. Aggarwal

Prof. Y. P. Aggarwal, Prof. Emeritus, Kurukshetra University delivered his second guest lecture at Education and Training, MANUU on 14.08.2015, which was attended by M.Ed. students, research scholars, teachers. In this he used simple technique of discussion and delivered his talk and presented  Hypothesis, Table of random numbers and selection of sample and some Research methods. His deliberations were made in Urdu, Hindi with English Terminology, which appeared to me effective. Some of the participants who were present were benefited. He also gave some activities for giving illustrations.

Introduction of Prof. Yash P. Aggarwal* I am happy to introduce Prof. Yash P. Aggarwal an eminent teacher educator to the University in general and Department of Education and Training in particular and be part of a guest lecturer in the Department of Education and Training, MANUU, Hyderabad. It is my pleasure to introduce Prof. Aggarwal, who himself is well aware of Urdu and loves Urdu. This is not his first but, second visit to MANUU and to the department. In my informal interaction, he informed me that he has studied Urdu till his 10 th standard, and used this language along with Persian for interaction and correspondence with his father, which rarely most of us do today, as today’s whatsApp, Facebook, email takes us away from our languages and make us interact in an alien language English with our own people, which is knowingly or unknowingly adopted by all of us. Dr. Aggarwal had a humble beginning as he started his career as a school teacher thereafter he ros
