About MANUU

Maulana Azad National Urdu University (MANUU) is a Central University, established by an Act of Parliament in 1998 with all India jurisdiction. The headquarter and the main campus of MANUU is in Gachibowli, Hyderabad. This is the only central university in India that provides education through Urdu Medium in regular and distance mode programmes. Hence, its stakeholders are spread from Kashmir to Kanyakumar, Gujrat to West Bengal and Assam. The university has a diverse campus and caters to the needs of different stakeholders studying in Urdu medium.
