Guntur tour

On 17th of August 2015, a three member committee made went to Guntur for visit of a College of education. Along with my colleagues Mr. B. L. Meena, assistant professor education and Dr. Arshad Ekbal, Regional Director, RCH, MANUU were present.  The to and fro journey was carried out on the same day, which was bit hectic. On visit, we found that the Andhra Pradesh Muslim society has got beautiful campus of 20 acres in the heart of the city. As informed to us the society is running various programmes like B.A., B.Com., B. Sc., in addition to B.Ed. and diploma in education. The building was quite spacious having science social studies rooms and education technology laboratory.  The information communication technology lab, language lab, psychology lab are very nice, and all the classrooms are equipped with projectors. Dr. Mastan Wali, the principle of college took us around the campus, where the climate was hot and humid. The education programs of the college are recognised by NCTE. The institute has good infrastructure for physical education. The library was equipped with many books, most of which were in Telugu. We could also see students of D.Ed. I and II in pink uniforms. This was my first visit towards this part of the country and on our way back we could see very beautiful sceneries in Vijayawada.
