COVID-19 alarms us to worry for humanity
Impact of corona virus has not yet
vanished, whereas it on rise. Although China has controlled it in its land, the
virus has emerged in Korea and affecting in thousands. Cases of the virus are
also found in more than fifty countries including Eastern Europe specially
country like Italy. A 60-year-old man who travelled from Italy to Latin America
was found affected and died. The Deputy Health Minister of Iran, who initially
hesitated to admit effect of this disease was found infected, which is a case
in that country in addition to hundreds of others. One person who was found
affected, died in Iran and Pakistan is also very much vigilant on its borders
of Iran. This means that the disease is knocking doors of our country. This
disease is crossing borders and the World Health Organisation (WHO) is
admitting that most of the countries are not prepared to tackle this situation.
Many government agencies have issued advisory to is citizens, and I'm happy to
note that the educational institutions like Central University of Karnataka had
also issued advisory to its stakeholders. The countries are keeping a strong
vigil on travellers.
India has done good so far, but there is
a danger of the disease COVID-19, as we are part of this global village, where
travelling has become very common now. The cities like Delhi, Hyderabad, Belgaum
are part of India and people are to be very careful towards their safety.
Special care has to be taken while travelling in public transport. I was
thinking of sending my young son in a public transport (local flight from
Hyderabad to Belgaum), during his brief school holidays. This now appears
risky, as public transport is very much vulnerable. I think all of us have to
fight this situation together and overcome it to safeguard humanity of the world.
There is an impact of this on the economy
too. Poultry industry in India is affected politicians, film personalities are
coming together, free chicken items are being distributed in Hyderabad to show
that there is no such impact as shown in social media. Production of materials
in decreasing in countries affected by this disease. Lot of capital investment
is being done to support persons affected by this. Companies like Apple and
Microsoft have come forward to extend sort for fighting this. Limitations to
take this has opened new vistas to research. Research is being done to overcome
this disease. Hospitals are being built in smallest span of time. Medicines and
food are being served using Robotics. There is lot of research in drugs and
pharmaceutical companies. Different mechanisms of treating patients are coming
together. AYUSH in India has suggested various mechanisms, senior societal
leaders like ministers are suggesting mechanisms like eating l washing of
hands, not touching the face etc.
The time when we are to fight this
natural disaster, why are some people feeling enthusiastic to fight based on
religion, especially in city like Delhi. Delhi, which is capital of India and
face of the nation should monitor itself and regulate. News from here comes
before the eyes of entire world and Nations who are not well-wishers may
exploit the situation. I am very much worried about the entire humanity on this
globe in this situation. Let us pray for health of all and peace of the
country. Conflict appears where people live, if we are not alive then there
will not be any conflict. The conflict is because of our thinking and our
thoughts are not uniform always. You reflect upon your thoughts, how many of
you have had similar thoughts about the same thing? How many of you have liked
only one kind of food every day or three times a day? We get bored because of
redundancy, and same colour, same task bore us. Different dishes not only
satisfy our hunger but also give a good taste. This is how, diversity also
brings variety and sustains interest in our lives. Ours is a great country, we
are different in language, region, religion, and thoughts but are united by the
nation. A paper published in nature quoted in a reputed national daily
newspaper dates earlier human life existence in India to 80,000 years. Of late,
I have heard King Martin Luther appreciating this country as a great nation,
who had followed peaceful footsteps of Mahatma Gandhi. Many such great people
across the globe have continually expressed their liking towards this country.
Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), felt a pleasant wind blowing from India. Europeans
were attracted by its greatness and wealth and came to India. Indian diaspora
outside is making use proud, and we see lot off following fort our Prime Minister
wherever he goes. Good our bad happenings in India are definitely going to
impact our image and hence, we need to look into its behaviours from other
angles too. It is not good that the citizens of this great country fight for
silly things. Let us not wait to kill ourselves, to overcome conflict, but care
for the humanity and live together and support each other to fight dangers to
human beings like CORONA.
